Guide for expatriates in Casablanca

We are proud to launch our new city guide for expatriates in Casablanca.
Morocco is a country poised on the precipice of an international
destination for work and play. Once only thought of for retirees wanting
to bask in its plentiful sunshine, it is now a destination for all with
its close proximity to Europe and a growing economic market. The land
of souqs, sun and opportunity, the country is on the rise.
The city of Casablanca is impossible to disentangle from the 1942
American romantic drama of the same name. The colonial world shown in
the film, occupied by Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman is becoming a
cosmopolitan city. Formerly an undesirable entry point into Morocco on
the way to Rabat, Marrakesh, or Fez, the city is refurbishing its charm
as it become an international destination for travelers and expats. (More)

We are proud to launch our new city guide for expatriates in Cairo.
Images of Egypt bring forth thoughts of camels, endless sand, souqs,
Pharaohs, the Pyramids, and a far off and exotic land. The many
achievements of the ancient Egyptians have deeply impacted our modern
world. They were masters quarrying, surveying and construction
techniques; a system of mathematics; a practical and effective system
of medicine; irrigation systems and agricultural production; the first
known ships, glass technology; new forms of literature; and the earliest
known peace treaty. The Egyptian legacy rivals that of the Romans. (More)

A European city in a country that lies over a vast part of Asia, Moscow holds one-tenth of all Russian residents. The city is located in the western region of Russia and is the capital and epicentre of political, economic, cultural, religious, financial, educational, and transportation happenings. "Muscovites", as residents are known, tend to be cultured and worldly. This may be due to the many scientific, educational, and artistic institutions that are based here. An intoxicating mix of the exotic and the familiar, it is the largest city in Europe with the Moscow metropolitan area ranking among the largest urban areas in the world. (More)

Guide for expatriates in Zurich

We are proud to launch our new city guide for expatriates in Zurich.
Switzerland brings forth images of majestic peaks with brown cows dotting the hillside, but the country is so much more. It is a country that offers refined delicacies like Swiss cheese and chocolate, the austere Alps and the unquestionable security of it's banks.
Zurich is the largest city in Switzerland. It is spelled Zürich in German or Züri in Swiss German. It is Zurich in French, Zurigo in Italian, and Turitg in Romansh. The city has 380,500 inhabitants. The greater Zurich metropolitan area is composed of a population of nearly 2 million inhabitants. The city is a hub for railways, roads, and air traffic.
Zurich is a leading global city with a vibrant financial center. Zurich benefits from the high level of investment in education that is typical of Switzerland in general and provides skilled labor at all levels. Many of Switzerland's research and development centers are concentrated in Zurich, but the most important is the service industry. About 330,000 people have found work in Zurich, with about 90 percent in the service sector. Most Swiss banks are headquartered in Zurich and there are numerous foreign banks in the Greater Zurich Area. The Swiss Stock Exchange, called SIX Swiss Exchange, was established here in 1877 and is the fourth most prominent stock exchange in the world.
The quality of life is also high in Zurich. It receives high scores
for work, housing, leisure, education and safety. It is also
consistently ranked as one of the most expensive city in the world.
You will find the usual articles in our guide to prepare your expatriation to Zurich and manage your life once in there:
Overview, Job, Passport, Visa & Permits, International Removal
Companies, Finding Accommodation, Work, Benefits and Tax, Moving in,
Education, Health, Practical Life (banks, transport, shopping...),
Entertainment...
You can also discuss and share experience in Zurich and Switzerland in our forum.
Last but not least, you can download the full guide in PDF format, in order to read quietly and maybe to upload on your mobile or tablet PC/iPad.

Scotland is an ancient, mystic land of the common man, and the original intellectuals; lush green valleys and rolling hills; the intimidating dish of haggis, legendary whiskey, and fried Mars bars. As identifiable as Scottish brogue, family tartans and bagpipes appear all over the world as reminders of the great, little land so many people come from. The gregarious people have a reputation as storytellers with many legendary writers like Sir Walter Scott, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Irvine Welsh, and JK Rowling all leaving a mark upon the world. Scotland has also produced the inventors of the television, telephone and penicillin, and the cloned sheep Dolly. It is part of the United Kingdom, and yet, it's own separate jewel. (More)
Guide for expatriates in Berlin

We are proud to launch our new city guide for expatriates in Berlin.
People from Berlin often point out that Berlin is not Germany. Though
it is the capital, the city is distinct and different from the rest ofteh country. However, there are many symbols of Germany's rich history in
Berlin, from the grandiose Brandenburger Tor to the bomb-scarred
side-walks. In the center of the city, an island of world-class
museums showcases the history of Berlin and artifacts from around the world.
The city is far from being all about history. Insane night-life, the
ever-changing restaurant scene, the omnipresent cranes, and a new
neighborhood usurping the crown of "the coolest" every decade or so proves the
city is alive. Even the people of Berlin are constantly changing. It
has a reputation as a place filled with people from elsewhere. Someone
who has lived in Berlin for ten years will see themselves as a "true
Berliner" compared to the person who has been there for only five. (More)

Luxembourg is a mighty little country, although most Luxembourgers would resent the use of "little". It is the sixth-smallest country, yet holds the prestige of being the only Grand Duchy in the world. It is also one of the top three richest countries in the world with a matching high standard of living.
Many people have come to enjoy it's treasures; Luxembourg has the highest proportion of inhabitants with a foreign passport among the EU countries. Stunning natural beauty, a dynamic banking sector, and international flair are packed into this tiny powerhouse.

We are proud to launch our new city guide for expatriates in Beijing.
Beijing is uneclipsed in it's majesty, mystery, and magnificence. For
centuries the city stood out as a leading civilization, paving the way
in arts, astronomy, mathematics, medicine, and sciences. Paper,
gunpowder, the compass and printing (both block and movable type) are
Chinese inventions. Beijing is one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of
China and is still known in some places by it's other name: Peking. No
matter what you call it, it is one few cities that has served as the
political and cultural capital of an empire as vast as the People's
Republic of China for as long as Beijing has. (More)
