Just before Christmas, and to finish this year, we are publishing for the second year the EasyExpat Best-off list for the funniest or most bizarre emails we have received in 2011.
We remind you that EasyExpat is a list of city guides for expatriates,
host a public forum for the community and free services such as job
listing, classifieds, general articles on expatriation, directory of expat websites. Apparently some

Home for the Holidays... or Not

The holidays are an emotional time where people are nostalgic for "the old days", tradition is observed, and everyone thinks about going home for the holidays. For some of us, that's harder than it seems.
Being away from friends and family and the place you once called home is one of the most difficult aspects of being an expat. "Going home" may be impossible considering work, transportation costs, and attachment to your new home and traditions. (More)

Cost of living, safety, job opportunities, transportation options, and more all are elements in leading to the best quality of living. Mercer's Quality of Living survey helps to identify leaders and seeks to provide governments and multi-national companies with information. The survey covers 221 cities and provides a detailed list.
